How Do You Chicken Dance? Breast - Drumstick - Thigh

BBQ Chicken Drumsticks are my absolute favorite. I'm a dark meat fan and are so versatile. Its the reason why when I partnered with @ChickenDotCa I was drawn to this recipe on Chicken.ca. The Hoisin BBQ Sauce, their beautiful red color, made them the perfect smoked chicken drumstick.

Looking for that Chickens Farmers of Canada logo ensures I'm feeding my family healthy chicken Raised By a Canadian Farmer, and something I'm passionate about.

Not only did my husband and I loved it, my son devored every last bit of his chicken.  WINNING!!

.

Ingredients:

Chicken Drumsticks (8)

Hoisin Sauce (5 Tbsp)

Rice Vinegar (1 Tbsp)

Ketchup (2 Tbsp)

Honey (2 Tbsp)

Sesame Oil (1 tsp)

Sriracha (1 tsp)

Sesame Seeds (1 Tbsp)

.

Directions:

1. Combine all ingredients into a bag.  Toss well and remove as much air in the bag as possible before marinading it the refridgerater for 1-24 hours.

2. Setting my Louisiana Grills Black Label pellet smoker to 325 degrees I placed the marinaded chicken drumsticks directly on the grill for approximately an hour or until an internal temperature of 175 degrees.  You want to base the chicken with the left over marinade every 15 minutes to get that glossy sticky look to them. Stop basing the last 15 minutes.
