Homemade Fall French Bread

Falling completely head over heels with Fall Y'all. There is nothing like a rainy football Sunday at home with my family. I wanted to fill the air with a comfy and cozy vibe. Bright and early we all had fun watching as the dough rose up to a perfect fluff. The aroma this fall bread gives in only 20 minutes is mouth watering.

1 Tbsp active dry yeast

1 cup warm water between 115 degrees

1/2 tsp sugar

1 teaspoons kosher salt

2 1/2 cups bread flour

olive oil

Herb and Garlic Butter (Optional) - 1 Tbsp butter

- 1 garlic, minced - 1 Tsp Italian Seasoning (Melt 30 seconds in microwave)

Directions: 1. Using my @Thermoworks pen, I add sugar, water at 115 degrees and yeast into a small bowl and let sit for a few minutes.

2. Add all other ingredients (minus olive oil). Add the salt and flour. Using a mixer on a low speed, combine all ingredients, then increase speed to medium high, to kneed the dough for another 5 minutes. Lightly rub olive oil over thew dough and let sit in a bowl, covered for 1 hour.

3.Giving your counter and rolling pin a good dusting of flour. Punch dough down into a rectangle shape. Using a rolling pin, roll dough out to a 1/4" thickness. Cinnamon roll style, roll dough long ways. Place on baking sheet, seem down. Cover and let rise again for 30 minutes. 4. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Once risen and fluffy, score bread horizontally and place in over for 17-20 minutes or until crispy brown. 5. Remove from oven. Coat with Herb and Garlic butter (optional) Bon Appetite.
