WHY SKIP ANCHOVIES IN CAESAR SALAD DRESSING?

Anchovies have long been a staple in traditional Caesar dressing. Their salty, umami flavor adds depth and complexity to the dressing, which is why they’re often included. However, some people find the flavor of anchovies overpowering or simply don't enjoy them. If that’s the case for you, don’t worry! You can still achieve a delicious, well-rounded Caesar dressing by swapping anchovies for other ingredients that mimic their umami essence. In fact, with the right substitutions, you might even find that this anchovy-free version is just as satisfying.
