Simple, Fresh and packed with so much flavor. These ingredients speak for themselves. This recipe is one that I go to often as a quick and non complex meal. It is so good that my two year old even eats the broccoli in it.
.
Prep Time: 5 Minutes
Cook Time: 25 Minutes
Total Time: 30 Minutes
Serves: 4-6
.
Ingredients:
- Bacon (3 slices, cut into 1/2" pieces)
- Pasta (linguine 1/2 cups dry)
- Broccoli (1 floret, cut long ways)
- Onion (1 medium, cooking diced)
- Olive Oil (1 TBSP)
- Garlic (3 cloved, finely chopped)
- Parmesan Cheese (1/4 cup)
- Mayo (2 TBSP)
- Cheese (marble, 1/4 cup, shredded)
- Italian Seasoning (1/2 TBSP)
- Basil (fresh, 1/4 cup)
.
Directions:
1. In a large frying pan, add olive oil, bacon and onions. Cook for approximately 5 minutes or half way cooked. Then add the broccoli, garlic, Italian seasoning, and basil and cook for another 5 minutes. Stir often so you do not burn the garlic. Add cheese and reduce heat to medium low.
2. In a large pot, bring water to a boil, and add pasta. Cook as instructed.
3. Add pasta to sauce mix. Serve immediately.
.
Bon Appetite.
