BBQ Cheesy Chicken, the name itself has all the right elements for me. BBQ with that smoke flavour, cheese, and my favourite - CHICKEN. With its thick cheesy spread that's slowly smoked to render into a perfect crispy topping. This cheesy chicken recipe is a 30-minute recipe that will have all your family asking for seconds.
I always love cheese and chicken in all my favourite dips and appetizers but they do the same thing - melt together. I wanted to create a recipe that the cheesy didn't run right off and and render down slowly to crisp up. Try this new cheesy chicken recipe and I promise, you'll be just as hooked as I am.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED FOR:
BBQ CHEESY CHICKEN
Pellet Grill (I used my Louisiana Grills Founders Premier, pellet grill)
Pellets (I used, Apple Blend by Louisiana Grills)
Cast Iron (I used my 22" Cast Iron from Pit Boss Grills)

Serves: 4-6
Prep Time: 5 Minutes
Cook Time: 25 Minutes
Total Time: 30 Minutes
Grill Temp: 300 Degrees
Internal Temp: 165 Degrees
INGREDIENTS
Chicken Thighs (4-6 skinless, boneless)
Cream Cheese (1/4 cup, room temperature)
Mayo (1/4 cup)
Marble Cheese (1/4 cup)
Parmesan Cheese (3 Tbsp)
Garlic (2 cloves, minced)
Parsley (1 Tbsp fresh or 1/2 Tbsp dry)
Salt and Pepper (to taste)
DIRECTIONS
Preheat your pellet grill to 300 degrees. For this BBQ cheesy chicken, I used my Louisiana Grills Founders Premier. You want to slowly smoke this chicken so the cheesy does not run right off.
Next for this cheesy chicken recipe, using a small bowl mix together all ingredients except the chicken. Once mixed thoroughly, evenly spread the thick mixture on the top of your chicken thighs. Place them in your cast iron or baking sheet.
Once your pellet grill is preheated, place your BBQ cheesy chicken that you have placed in a cast-iron right on your grill. I absolutely love the way cream and cheesy take on smoke. It is so delicious. Once your chicken has reached an internal temperature of 165 degrees (about 25 minutes) it's ready to serve with your favourite side. Enjoy.
