Smoked Chicken Wings | Smoked Chicken Wing Recipe | Canadian Chicken

Smoked Chicken Wings are my absolute favourite way to get crispy wings. In this smoked chicken wing recipe, I'll show you exactly how to get the perfect wing. We begin with finding quality chicken, Canadian Chicken that is.

May is International BBQ Month and as Ontario's, Chickens Farmers of Canada's ambassador I wanted to showcase my absolute favourite way to BBQ Chicken. Smoked Chicken Wings. When you see that logo on your package of chicken, it ensures that you are getting the highest quality poultry and help our local economy.

This month show us YOUR Canadian Chicken LOGO, use this months hashtag #ChickenDotCA and lets show BBQ month chicken ain't nothing to QUACK about.

SMOKED CHICKEN WINGS

Preheat your pellet smoker to 325 degrees. Simply prepare your chicken wings by coating them in your favorite seasonings. I used both my Lousiana Grills Black Label 1200 pellet smoker and an arrayment of rubs, including my favourite rub "Sweet Heat" .

Place your wings directly on the grill OR your favourite grill grate, and place in your pellet smoker for an approximate 45 minutes to and hour. You want a crispy internal temperature of 185 degrees.

PRO TIP: Don't toss your wings in sauce - Mop your wings with sauce with a brush or mop. With an internal temperature of 180 or over degrees, if your toss your smoked chicken wings, they could easily fall apart. Rather have that happen in your mouth :P

I USED Pitmasters Choice Premium Pellets to cook my chicken wings. Use "SCALEANDTAILOR10" for 10% off.
