Barn Burner is Falls’ cozy smooth Canadian taste brew that pairs perfectly with chicken. So fall in love this fall with Beau's All Natural Barn Burner and this ULTIMATE BEER CAN CHICKEN.

TIPS FOR THE PERFECT BEER CAN CHICKEN

  • Use indirect heat: Avoid direct flames under the bird to prevent flare-ups.

  • Don’t rush it: Slow and steady makes for juicy chicken and crispy skin.

  • Switch up your beer: Try darker ales for richer flavor or citrusy IPAs for a punch of brightness.

  • Try wood smoke: A handful of hickory or applewood chunks adds incredible depth.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Pellet Grill (I used my Pit Boss Grills Titan)

Pellets (I used Pit Boss Grills Cherry Pellets)

Barn Burner Amber Ale (From Beau's All Natural)

ULTIMATE BEER CAN CHICKEN RECIPE

Chicken (whole)

Beer (2 tall cans, Beau's Barn Burner)

Garlic (1 clove, minced)

Mayo (2 Tbsp)

Poultry Rub (2 Tbsp)

INSTRUCTIONS

First let's marinade our chicken for 30 minutes up to 24 hours in advance. Add your beer, garlic, and chicken onto a large bowl and refrigerate. Preheat your grill or oven to 350 degrees. Once marinated, pat dry. Using your mayo, use 1 Tbsp per side of your chicken and coat as a binder evenly. Now, do the same thing with your poultry rub. Open your second can of beer, and place your chicken on top of it using your inner cavity as a guide. You can either place directly onto your grill or on a baking sheet for better balance. Grill for approximately 2 hours or until an internal temperature of 165 degrees in the breast and 175 degrees in the leg. Let your beer can chicken rest for 10 minutes before slicing into it. Enjoy!

WHAT MAKES THIS THE ULTIMATE BEER CAN CHICKEN?

It’s all about balance — moisture, flavor, and that perfect crispy skin. The steam from the beer keeps the chicken tender while the dry rub and high heat create a mouthwatering crust. Plus, there’s just something fun about roasting a whole bird standing tall on a can of beer.

You don’t need fancy equipment — just your favorite grill, a can of beer, and some BBQ passion.

SERVING IDEAS FOR THE ULTIMATE BEER CAN CHICKEN RECIPE

Carve it up and serve with your favorite sides — creamy coleslaw, grilled corn, or bacon-onion scalloped potatoes. The smoky, herby flavor pairs beautifully with a cold beer (obviously).
