Let's ring in this summer with beer recipes. Nothing says a hot summers day than a cold one. Wellington Brewery Beer, Pitmasters Choice Pellets, and I are here to bring your easy beer recipes to kick off your bbq season.


GARLIC BEER BRATS

Nothing smells like a Canadian summer more than beer and brats. Shine those summer rays with this BBQ Summer Classic - Garlic Beer Brats. This Wellington Brewery beer recipe is quick easy yet jammed packed full of flavour.


INGREDIENTS

Beer (3/4 of tall can. I used Wellingtons Brewery, Crisp Golden Lager but you can use any)

Bratsworth Sausages (6-8 links)

Butter (2 Tbsp)

Garlic (1 Tbsp)

Italian Seasoning (1 1/2 tsp)

Bell Peppers (1 Red Pepper, sliced)

Onion (1 medium cooking onion)


DIRECTIONS

This BBQ Wellingtons Brewery Beer recipe is simple yet delicious. Preheat your pellet or gas grill to 400 degrees. (If your using a gas grill, cook indirectly and off the direct flame) Place your bratsworths directly on the grill so you get some awesome charred goodness.


Using an aluminum pan OR a cast iron skillet place it directly on your grill grates. Saute your ingredients by adding the butter, garlic, Italian seasoning, onions, and peppers. Giving them a stir a few times until they start to become soft and wilted (about 10 minutes). Then add your WELLINGSTONS BREWERY, CRISP GOLDEN LAGER and watch those flavors mix together.


Next dunk your slightly charred bratsworth right into your beer bath. Close your grill lid and let your beer simmer, reduce, and penetrate. The alcohol boils out, making it a family friendly meal.


BBQ BEER CORN

Roasted corn with a bright yellow soft middle, and a sweet succulent taste? This BBQ Beer Corn Recipe will be your new go to this summer with Wellington Brewery.


WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Corn (4 Whole Husk)

Beer (2 tall cans. I used Wellingtons Brewery, Special Pale Ale but you can use any)

Zip Lock Bag or Large Container


DIRECTIONS

Marinate your corn in your zip lock bag or container. Prepare your corn by simply cutting off all the excess hairs at the top, exposing the corn slightly. Add your corn to your zip lock bag or container and pour two cans in. Remove any excess air from the bag before sealing it. You might have to do this twice as the foam subsides. Marinate for approx 3-8 hours.


Preheating your pellet or gas grill to 350 degrees. If you are using a gas grill, place your corn on indirectly and not on over open flame. Right from your bag to the grill, place your husks of corn directly on your grill grates. Grill for approximately 40 minutes turning often.
