Starting from the very basics, I always ensure, by looking for the logo, that I'm purchasing Raised by Canadian Farmers Chicken! Not all butchers know that this logo is important for you to see. Let them know so it also becomes important to them too.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

PELLET SMOKER (I used my Louisiana Grills Black Label 1200)

PORK PANKO (Or use ground up pork grinds)

CAESAR SALAD DRESS (I used Kraft)

PELLETS (If using a pellet smoker, I used Louisiana Grills Cherry for this cook)

DIRECTIONS

Preheat your pellet smoker to 375 degrees. I used my Louisiana Grills Black Label 1200. First, prepare your chicken. Using a shallow plate add your Caesar Salad Dressing. In another shallow plate add your PORK PANKO. You can add spice to this (optional) I used "Sweet Heat Rub" by Louisiana Grills.

For this BBQ Chicken Leg Recipe, you want to coat your chicken evenly on all sides with your Caesar salad dressing first. Then press your chicken into the Pork Panko mixture (try not to rub, but rather press).

Place your soon-to-be smoked chicken legs directly on your grill grates. You're going to smoke these for approximately 1 hour or until 175 degrees internal temperature. Tip: Do not flip the smoke chicken legs.
