WHAT YOU'LL NEED

PELLET GRILL

For this cook, I used my Louisiana Grills Founders Premier

PELLETS

CAST IRON

INGREDIENTS

Ground Beef (2 lbs or ground brisket - optional)

Lasagna Noodles (2 boxes or fresh pasta - optional)

Tomato Sauce (1 can)

Pasta Sauce (1 can)

Onion (1 Medium, chopped)

Garlic (5 cloves, minced)

Italian Seasoning (2 Tbsp)

Parsley (1/2 Tbsp)

Bay Leaf (2)

Salt and Pepper (To Taste)

Mozzarella Cheese (1 whole brick - 2 cups)

Boursin Cheese (2 blocks or ricotta)

INSTRUCTIONS

THE SAUCE: Preheat your Louisiana Grills pellet grill to 350 degrees. Using your cast iron, smoke your ground beef or brisket with your onions until your meat is browned. Next, you want to add your aromatics which are garlic, Italian seasoning, parsley, and bay leaf. Stir for a couple of minutes. Next, add your cans of tomato, pasta sauce and salt and pepper. Let simmer for approximately 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

BUILD YOUR LASAGNA: Once your sauce is done place it into a bowl so you can use the same cast iron to build your lasagna. You want the pan nice and saucy so that your noodles do not stick to your pan. Begin by layering your uncooked noodles (depending on the type your grab - cook as directed on box) then a thin layer of sauce then add some mozzarella cheese and the Boursin cheese. Repeat this process until layered to almost the top of the cast iron. You want a little room to not spill over. Smoke for approximately 45 minutes to an hour. Enjoy!!
