Ground Beed (1 lb)
Tomato Sauce (1 can)
Diced Tomatoes (1 can)
Onion (1 medium, diced)
Celery (1 stalk, chopped)
Carrot (1 carrot, chopped)
Red Pepper (chopped)
Jalapeno (deseeded, mined)
Garlic (3 cloves, minced)
Bay Leaf (1 whole)
Chili Powder (1/2 Tbsp)
Cajun Seasoning (1/2 Tbsp)
Cumin (1 tsp)
Salt and Pepper (to taste)
Cheese (Mozzarella, cut into slivers)
Preheat your @PitBossGrills pellet grill to 400 degrees. Place your cast iron skillet onto your BBQ and let it preheat with your grill. Next add your ground beef, onion, celery, carrots, red pepper and jalapeno. Cook until your ground beef is brown, and your vegetables are wilted.
Next, add seasonings including your garlic. Stir for a couple of minutes to let them become fragrant. Then add your Bush's Beans, tomato sauce and diced tomatoes. Stir and let cook for another 30 minutes.
Prepare your football-shaped bread bowls by cutting out a football shape within each bun. Remove excess bread to allow chilli to sit nicely inside it. Scoop your smoked chilli into each bowl and top with those cheese slivers to really make them look like a football.
