Smoked Whipped Feta | Whipped Feta Recipe | BBQ Whipped Feta

This Whipped Feta Recipe has a secret that it wants everyone to know. SMOKED WHIPPED FETA is next-level delicious and everyone needs to try it. It's silky smooth, full of yummy garlic, and topped with a sweet drizzle of honey. Try something new this gameday with this BBQ Whipped Feta Dip!!

I first tried whipped feta while out with my girlfriend for dinner. It was so delicious and I knew I wanted to try it with the added flavour of smoke. After all, you all know I love BBQ food. It is my thing. So BBQ Whipped Feta was born.

What to serve it with? Use your favourite dippable veggies or use tortilla chips and pita bread. I personally love roasted tomatoes with it as well. Easy to do because we are already roasting our garlic and feta cheese. Enjoy with your friends this game day!

INGREDIENTS

Feta Cheese (medium size block)

Cream Cheese (1/2 cup)

Garlic (2 whole garlic bulbs)

Olive Oil (1/3 cup)

Cajun Seasoning (1/2 Tbsp)

Honey (2 Tbsp, to drizzle - Peace River Honey)

Roasted Tomatoes (Optional, to garnish)

SERVE WITH (Options to serve with)

Pita Bread

Roasted Tomato (grill with garlic and feta cheese)

Tortilla Chips

Cucumbers

DIRECTIONS

For this smoked whipped feta we will begin by preheating your Pit Boss Grills pellet grill to 275 degrees. We are going to smoke our garlic and feta cheese first. This will caramelize our garlic and get that beautiful smoked cheese taste. Prepare your garlic by slicing the top off and drizzling olive oil on top. Place in tin foil or in a cast iron, along with your feta cheese block.

Smoke for approximately 30 minutes. Keep an eye out on your feta cheese, once you see it starting to brown, it is ready. Your garlic might take a little longer to become soft and caramelize.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

A PELLET SMOKER (I used my Pit Boss Grills KC COMBO)

TIN FOIL or CAST IRON SKILLET (I used my Pit Boss Grills Cast Iron)

BLENDER

Next for this whipped feta recipe, we will blend all the ingredients together for a smooth and silky finish. Using your blender add your smoked feta, garlic (remove from casings by squeezing it out), and all other ingredients except your honey. Blend by pulsing until all chunks are smooth. Put it in a bowl, drizzle honey on top and add roasted tomatoes. I used the beautiful honey from Peace River Honey. Enjoy with your favourite dunkable.
