Ever since I found out I was partnering up with @LouisianaGrills I've been dreaming up recipes that would taste out of this world on a pellet smoker. Cauliflower steaks is one of them. You want those grills marks on the outside and tenderness on the inside. Low and slow wins this race and that smoke flavor infused - you'll never want to eat cauliflower any of way again.
Prep Time: 5 Minutes
Cook Time: 20 Minutes
Total Time: 25 Minutes . Ingredients: - Cauliflower (whole, thick sliced steaks) - Pizza Sauce (3 Tbsp per steak) - Mozzarella Cheese (1/2 cup, shredded)
- Pepperoni (1/2 cup, sliced) - Italian Seasoning (sprinkle in each) . Directions: 1. Preheat your smoker or oven to 400 degrees. Remove all leaves from your cauliflower. You want to keep the core of your cauliflower intact as this is what will hold it all together. Cutting straight down the middle and working your way to each side, cut thick 2" thick steaks. 2. Spread pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, and Italian Seasoning on each steak. 3. Place cauliflower steaks directly on the grill to achieve those grill marks and smoke gets on all sides. Smoke or bake for 20 minutes and serve immediately.
