I saw these TikTok Parmesan Potatoes and I had to make my own version of them so here I give you my BBQ Parmesan Potatoes. They are soft on the inside, crunchie on the outside, and most importantly DELICIOUS. Let me show you exactly how to make a crispy parmesan potato recipe.
Potatoes shouldn't be boring. They should highlight the main you are serving them with. These BBQ parmesan potatoes literally go with everything. They are the staple that belongs on the kitchen table on rotation. I hate soggy potatoes so this crispy parmesan potato recipe is perfect. BBQ parmesan potatoes, crispy, crunchie, and clutch.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
PELLET GRILL - I used my Pit Boss Grills Navigator
PELLETS - Competition Blend by Pit Boss Grills
POTATOES - I used, Yukon Gold, Yellow Potatoes
OLIVE OIL (I used, Zoe's Tuscan-flavored Olive Oil)
ITALIAN SEASONING (I used, Zoe's Italian Seasoning Blend)
Preheat your pellet grill to 400 degrees. Line a grill-safe baking sheet with either butcher paper or parchment paper. I used butcher paper from Pit Boss Grills. Next use about 1 cup or however much to lay a thick coat of parmesan over the paper.
The next step in this crispy parmesan potato recipe is to prepare your potatoes. Thinly slice your potatoes by hand or with a mandoline. Toss them in your favourite Olive Oil and herbs - I used Zoe Tuscan herbs flavoured olive oil AND Italian seasoning.
Next, lay the potatoes out on top of your parmesan cheese. Arrange how you like but note you want each potato to touch the cheese to make it stick and get crispy. Optional: add more parmesan cheese on top if your feeling cheesy. Place them directly on your grill for approximately 1 hour or until crispy and brown. Peel the potatoes off to reveal a crispy finish on the bottom. Enjoy!!
