My backyard had a baby!! I giant beast of a baby!! Welcome to the crew Pit Boss KC Combo. This smoker/gas grill/griddle is an all-in-one beast that comes with all the bells and whistles. Here you will find my honest Pit Boss KC Combo review on this new grill and my first experience with it.
Whether you are a beginner or a pro, the Pit Boss KC Combo has it all, so you can do it all. Pellet grill on one side to give you that wood fire flavour with sear tech technology that enables you to directly grill over live flame. The other side has a griddle OR gas grill to flame broil. With temperatures ranging from 180 to 500 degrees and 1001 square inches of cooking space. It really has all the options you will ever need to cook however you want.
Whether you want to feel like a chef and flip pancakes and eggs on the griddle (one of my favourites) or smoke a pork butt for pulled pork on the pellet smoker side. In this Pit Boss KC Combo review, I'll show you just what this grill can really do.
First, if you are a novice griller, don't worry. If you know how to cook it in your oven or stove, then you can grill it on the Pit Boss KC Combo. It can smoke, sear, bake, saute, fry, braise, roast, low and slow or hot and fast. You can smoke your tomahawk steak low and slow and then reverse sear it on the sear plate. Want to quickly sear some burgers? Use the gas flame broiler for easy convenience. Want to bake your cupcakes? Yes!! you can do that too.
PIT BOSS KC COMBO - PELLET GRILL SIDE
I might be a little bias, but this side is my favourite because I love how smoke transforms your food. It has a digital display to control the temperature. A built in meat thermometer and holder. If you want to cook over live fire, or sear anything to perfection, it has sear plate that ou enables you to do that. Another feature I love is that it has a light inside the grill so even dark nights or early morning cooks your able to see your food with ease.
Pellet driven hopper that holds 26lbs so you wont be filling it up often. A pellet window so you can see when you need to fill the hopper. This separate side of the Pit Boss KC Combo has a two in one feature. A gas grill that can also convert into a griddle. Both fueled by liquid propane with traditional knobs for temperature. With grill grates to sear your meat and food that can also transform into a beautiful griddle plate. The options are endless.

In all honesty, I love this grill. I've even recommended the Pit Boss KC Combo to my aunt to purchase. She wanted a grill but also wanted to dabble in the art of smoking.
